My mission with the "Your Guide to Success Mentoring Program " is to empower you in your career. Whether you are just starting out and you need guidance on how to attract clients as a newbie in the language industry, or you simply want to maximize your potential and make the most of your career by transitioning from in-house to freelance or from one niche to another, or even if you are only interested in learning how to grow your list of languages and services included, I can help you with that by sharing the knowledge and expertise that I have acquired over the years. This is a 3 to 6-month mentoring program (depending on your needs) of tailor-made 1:1 virtual sessions (Zoom, Teams or Skype). The program can also include phone calls and follow-up emails. No matter where you are in your career, the right advice and encouragement can make all the difference!
Benefits of the "Your Guide to Success Mentoring Program":
• Flexible hours and number of live sessions: you decide how many or how little sessions you need and when. That's right! You set the goals and pace;
• All sessions are specially designed for a particular person or purpose: this is not a one-size-fits-all program. I want to make sure that the Mentoring Program suits your needs. For that reason, before starting, you will be asked to fill in a form that allows me to get to know you better and meet your expectations;
• Communication can be done in English, Portuguese and/or Romanian. You get to choose!
• The content of the Mentoring Program is up-to-date and with real life examples;
• A monthly Master Class on relevant topics is included;
• The 1:1 live sessions include Q&As, insights, motivation, guidance, and direct feedback on different topics such as: your CV, your motivational letter, your approach to clients, your online presence, networking, CPD etc.
The "Your Guide to Success Mentoring Program" is for you if:
• You have just graduated and you are looking to learn how to become a professional translator, proofreader, or transcriptionist;
• You have been a translator, proofreader, or transcriptionist for 1-2 years, but you do not have a niche yet;
• You have been a translator, proofreader, or transcriptionist for 3-4 years, but you still struggle with getting clients, gaining credibility, and having a stable income;
• You are an in-house translator, proofreader, or transcriptionist looking to transition to freelance;
• You already have a specialization, but you want to add a different niche, service or language.
The idea is to create a personalized strategy according to your needs, and also for you to receive the support and guidance that will help you boost your career.
